VOICE LESSON PROGRAM
Students are encouraged to take private voice lessons. Private lessons provide the individual help that young singers need and cannot get in a group or class. Progress will be much faster by having the individual help. Lesson times will be provided once per week, during class, if you choose this option. Our lesson teachers are provided by the DFW Music Academy.
Lesson prices are set by the district at $20/half hour. These are extremely affordable lessons in comparison to private studios around DFW. Please consider this opportunity to enhance your child’s education. They will be learning different things in their lessons that I will not have time to explain during class. This is the biggest reason that I recommend lessons. Information about our teachers can be found below.
Meet the Team
Voice Lesson Coordinator
Philip Williams has been teaching voice for 7 years in Houston and North Texas, and actively performs as a soloist and ensemble member of the Fort Worth Chorale. He holds degrees in Voice/Pedagogy from the University of North Texas and Pepperdine University.
Voice Lesson Teacher
Aaren Cadd is a native of Kentucky, where she graduated from Murray State University with her B.A. in Music Vocal Performance. Aaren is currently finishing up her Master's in Music at UNT and teaches piano and voice at the Denton Music Academy.
